Geriatrics grand rounds
The purpose of NIHAN Geriatrics Grand Rounds (GGRs) is to enhance geriatric workforce training to healthcare providers through introducing and establishing stronger age-friendly care systems.
Upcoming Training: “Geriatric Care through Telehealth”
The upcoming GGR trainings sessions for healthcare professionals will present Age & Ability Friendly Geriatric Care utilizing Telehealth and the 4M’s Framework. The weekly webinar series are developed in partnership with Comagine Health.
Attendees may expect to learn how to:
- Practice telehealth for individuals living with complex medical conditions in an efficient and safe manner.
- Formulate clinical decisions by integrating health information from EHR, wearable devices, and telehealth.
- Assess the value of telehealth in providing quality of care and access to older adults & individuals living with disability in Nevada.
These GGRs take place virtually on Wednesdays from May 15 – June 26, 2024 at 12PM – 1PM Pacific Time, Except May 15th & June 12th webinar to begin at 8AM Pacific Time.
After registering, you will receive a Zoom Meeting link & information to access the earned CME credits.
Participants can earn up to 6 CME credits for participating in all six GGR sessions.

Your earned CME credits will be accessible through Comagine Health. After registering for the session, in addition to the Zoom link, you will receive instructions to access all previous training videos and CME credits for the current telehealth training.
